…nah, just kidding. I’m just a regular guy who likes trying new things. It turns out all you need to make chocolate is desire, a bit of research, some basic scientific knowledge/cooking skills, a piece or two of specialized equipment, and a lot of patience (a little coffee helps too).
Coffee beans and cocoa beans share many similarities, and I recognized this in my search for new ways to consume my favorite beverage. Both can be bitter on their own, but when ground down to microscopic levels and evenly distributed in perfectly crystalized cocoa butter, magic happens. It took a lot of tinkering, and a ton of tasting, but I finally created some recipes that I believe will be enjoyed by both coffee and chocolate lovers alike.
Is it coffee? Is it chocolate? No, it’s Coffolate.
